SAREX 2011

Every year the Police and Coastguard have a major SAREX (Search and Rescue Exercise) to practise realistic senarios. This year the event was based in Kinloch and included Coastguards Lake Taupo and Turangi, along with the Harbourmaster's staff and vessel.

Realistic accidents are created and overseen by Doctors, First Aid trainers and Coastguard Trainers.
