Police and Coastguard Volunteers

CRV Mighty River Power Rescue was used to assist Police with a search for two missing fishermen on Lake Arapuni in September 2011. This was the first time that the vessel had been tasked by Police such a long way from our Taupo base. Despite a day long search, no trace of the fishermen was found.
