The AGM of Lake Taupo Coastguard was held on 6th September 2011. About 40 people attended and after the formalities were taken care of the new Regional Manager for Eastern Region, Graeme Hull, gave a short talk on his role and future direction for our region. After that Graeme presented service awards to a number of volunteers.   Julia Bates receiving a 15yr service award from Graeme Hull.

Micheal Drake is the new Patron and he spoke briefly about the early days of our unit.
